Scott Barber

Scott Barber is an experienced mining professional with a strong background in operations management and engineering. Currently serving as the General Manager of Mungari Operations at Evolution Mining, Scott has previously held significant positions such as General Manager Mining at Thiess and General Manager of Newman Operations at BHP. Additional roles at BHP include Head of Supply Business Partnership and Manager of Mining Equipment Maintenance. Prior experience also includes a position as Senior Mining Consultant at RungePincockMinarco and Mine Engineer at the Iron Ore Company of Canada, part of Rio Tinto. Scott holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Queen's University, earned between 1998 and 2002.
