We consider our portfolio companies as true partners, not merely investments. Evolution values and respects the people with whom we work and believes its value-added involvement is only beginning at the time a transaction closes. We stay engaged and empower company leaders to accelerate the maximum potential of their businesses.

Evolution's' primary focus is on entrepreneur-owned businesses but we remain flexible to explore other opportunities where our knowledge and interests are aligned. We typically target industrial and commercial service businesses with under $75 million in revenue and select only a handful of new platform opportunities to pursue each year, so we can provide dedicated resources to allow businesses to achieve meaningful growth.

We are a core values-driven company that live the following principles:

Do the Right Thing: We operate with full transparency and seek businesses that value strong ethics and business practices. Our culture is one of mutual respect and collaboration and want to do what is best for all – not just for our team’s benefit.

Remain Accountable: We believe in doing more as it is our obligation to help the partner businesses overcome challenges and find new opportunities to grow. We stay engaged and take ownership over the work that is needed to help the businesses grow. We roll up our sleeves to contribute immediately wherever needed.

Deliver Excellence: We are never content with the status quo. Success requires constant analysis and adjustment of business practices. We provide the tools, knowledge and financial backing to our partner businesses to evolve intelligently to sustain, or create, industry leadership.

Embrace Change: We know change is never easy, but we work diligently to always understand the best path forward and are willing and nimble to course correct based on what is happening in the market. We are thoughtful and calculated risk takers.
