Hisham Talukder

Hisham Talukder is a seasoned professional in data science, currently serving as VP of Data Science at EvolutionIQ since September 2024. Prior to this role, Hisham held the position of Director of Data Science at BlackRock from June 2021 to August 2024, focusing on product analytics and business insights. Hisham's earlier experience includes significant roles at Google as Data Science Lead and Data Scientist from January 2018 to June 2021, and at Criteo as a Data Scientist from April 2016 to January 2018. Hisham began a career in data science at Dow Jones, where responsibilities included designing machine learning pipelines for churn prediction and developing a recommendation engine from September 2014 to March 2016. Hisham's early experience also includes an internship at Evolent Health as a Network Analytics Intern in 2013. Hisham earned a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, and Scientific Computation from the University of Maryland, along with a Master of Science in Applied Statistics and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, Biology from the same university and Stony Brook University, respectively.
