Cory Henderson

Founder And CEO at Evolv

Cory Henderson is the Founder and CEO of Evolv since September 2022, focusing on innovative methods for genetically modifying foods through molecular farming. Previously, Cory served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, collaborating with Dr. Christina Bergey on the evolutionary genomics of African anopheline mosquitoes. Cory was also a Graduate Research Fellow at the National Science Foundation, investigating the molecular mechanisms of arbovirus transmission by Anopheline vectors. Additional roles include Camp Director at Penn State University, Field Technician for the International Centers of Excellence for Malaria Research, and various research assistant positions at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Cory holds a Ph.D. in Molecular and Evolutionary Genetics from Penn State University and dual bachelor's degrees in Biology and Anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
