Dr. Gerhard Lobmaier

Dr. Gerhard Lobmaier has extensive work experience in various roles within the chemical and nutrition industries. Dr. Gerhard is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Evolva since January 2021. Before that, they held positions at BASF from 2011 to 2020, including VP Global Operations - Animal Nutrition and VP Global Operations Human Nutrition. At BASF, they also served as Geschäftsführer BASF PCN from 2012 to 2016. Prior to their time at BASF, Dr. Lobmaier worked at Cognis from 2000 to 2010, where they held various roles such as VP Global Marketing, Portfolio and Value Chain Management, Vice President Region Europe, Werksleiter, Produktionsleiter und Head of Supply Chain, and Betriebsleiter. Dr. Gerhard started their career at Henkel as a Laborleiter from 1998 to 1999.

Dr. Gerhard Lobmaier obtained a Diplom in Chemie from the Technical University of Munich in 1994. Dr. Gerhard further pursued their studies at the same institution and earned a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Chemie.
