Managing Director at EVOLVE Advice

Jake is one of EVOLVE Advice’s Directors, and is responsible for contract management, business development and Compliance. He prides himself on providing thought leadership, disrupting and developing the status quo to ensure our clients receive the best possible service. As a Director he works with our team to ensure we continually look for improvement or development opportunities within our sector. He strongly believes we have a duty to improve the Outdoor Education Sector for future generations.

He set up EVOLVE Advice following a successful career as part time Detached Youth Worker, Outdoor Instructor and Centre Manager, activities which gave him the passion for, and understanding of the importance of safe and enjoyable educational visits.

Jake’s role includes managing the team of advisers, and he is proactive in ensuring that the most up-to-date advice is given, which is in-line with National Guidance, legislation and compliance requirements. He ensures that EVOLVE Advice clients receive the best support, as the service continues to grow in its support of schools, Trusts and Local Authorities.

Outside of EVOLVE Advice, he is a School Governor, a safety adviser to the Falkland Island Government, an Adviser to the Board at Next Generation Travel, and support the Outdoor Education Advisers Panel (OEAP) National Guidance writing group with legal wording, and is currently on the Solicitor Qualifying Exam pathway (SQE).
