Community Bank President at Evolve Bank & Trust

Rebecca Bowers has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Rebecca began their career at Bank of Bartlett in 1994 as the Training and Marketing Director, VP. In this role, they led ongoing career development, determined training needs, and handled budget administration. Rebecca remained in this position until July 2009.

Rebecca then joined First Capital Bank in August 2009 as the Vice President, where they directed and oversaw all retail service delivery and daily operations of a branch location. Rebecca ensured compliance with bank and regulatory policies and procedures and provided prompt and courteous service to customers until September 2011.

Following their tenure at First Capital Bank, they joined University of Phoenix in October 2010 as a Faculty Member. As an instructor for online college courses, they taught various subjects including Principles of Banking, Economics and Banking, and Corrective Action. Rebecca conducted student assessment and testing until December 2014.

In October 2011, they joined Evolve Bank & Trust as a Senior Vice President. In this role, they were responsible for developing and cultivating credit and banking relationships with high net worth individuals, families, corporations, and business owners. Rebecca provided advice on lending and deposit solutions integrated with clients' financial plans and achieved business metrics such as loan growth, deposit growth, and non-interest income. Rebecca held this position until September 2022 when they became the Community Bank President at Evolve Bank & Trust.

Rebecca Bowers obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communications from Lipscomb University, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Rebecca then pursued their Masters in Business Administration at The University of Memphis from 1994 to 1996. In 1998 and 1999, Rebecca completed the Southeastern School of Banking, offered by the TN Bankers Association, where they received training in the field of Banking through the Southeastern School of Banking I and II programs.
