Tanya Valentic

Tanya Valentic has a diverse work experience spanning several roles in the field of human resources and talent acquisition. Tanya currently holds the position of Head of People Operations at Evolve Biologics since March 2021. Previously, from 2020 to 2022, they served as a Board of Directors member at The Council for HR Leaders in Cannabis (HRCANN). Prior to that, Tanya worked as the Head of People Operations at Pliteq from September 2020 to March 2021. Tanya also held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Maricann Inc from November 2018 to September 2020. Tanya gained experience as an HR and Talent Acquisition Consultant at Therapure Biopharma Inc from January 2015 to November 2018, and at Jibe Solutions from November 2008 to January 2015. Tanya'scareer exhibits a strong focus on people operations, human resources, and talent acquisition.

Tanya Valentic studied at Toronto Metropolitan University, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Human Resources and Law. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. Tanya completed the "Coaching for High Performance" certification program at the Smith School of Business at Queen's University in February 2023. Prior to that, in December 2022, they obtained "The DNA of Top Performers" certification from the University of Toronto. Tanya also holds the "Certified Joint Health and Safety Member" certification, which they obtained from Workplace Safety & Prevention Services in July 2022.
