Johanna Murphy

Johanna Murphy is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education, writing, and community outreach. Currently serving as a Development Associate at Evolve Coaching since September 2020, Johanna also holds a position as a Lecturer at the University of Pittsburgh, teaching courses in journalism, creative writing, and composition since January 2015. In addition, a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh, Johanna has contributed to the education of over 450 students across various psychology courses. Other roles include Morning Researcher/News Aggregation Editor for Environmental Health News, Developmental Editor and Private Tutor at The Writing Studio Pittsburgh, and previous positions as Workforce Coordinator and Outreach Coordinator at local community colleges. Johanna's educational background includes an M.F.A. in Non-Fiction Writing from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.A. in Philosophy/English from the University of Scranton.
