John Reid has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. John is currently working as the Director, Southeast Channel Manager at Evolve IP since 2022. In this role, they manage the Southeast partner network, providing training and consultation to increase revenue. John recruits and trains new partners, co-hosts sales presentations, and assists with partner events.
Prior to Evolve IP, John worked at Edify from 2021 to 2022 as a Regional Channel Manager for the East Coast. John was responsible for managing the partner network, providing training and consultation to increase revenue. John also conducted product demos and contract negotiations.
Before Edify, John worked at Vonage Business Solutions from 2013 to 2021. John held the position of Senior Channel Sales Manager and was responsible for managing the nationwide partner network. John recruited, trained, and marketed to over 500 VARs nationwide.
From 2007 to 2012, John worked at Vigilar as a Senior Account Manager. John then moved on to MobileAware from 2004 to 2007, where they served as the Director of Southeast Sales, selling and promoting software and services.
Prior to that, John worked at Seeburger from 2002 to 2004 as a Senior Account Manager, selling and promoting various solutions to customers in the Northeast and Southeast territories. John achieved 105% quota with a $2.5M pipeline.
Lastly, from 1999 to 2001, John worked at BEA Systems as a Senior Account Manager, selling and promoting application, portal, and integration server solutions to customers in the Southeast. John closed a $1.7M deal with Columbia HCA.
Overall, John has extensive experience in channel management, sales training, and partner network management in the telecommunications and software industries.
John Reid attended The Ohio State University from 1981 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communications.
