Helen McElroy

Helen McElroy is a Senior Information Governance Specialist with extensive experience in implementing data protection and informatics programs across the public and private sectors at various levels. They have held key roles, including Senior Information Governance Lead at NEIG Limited and NHS England, where they provided support and guidance on GDPR and information governance practices. Helen previously worked as a Health Needs Analyst at West Cumbria Health Authority and served as Chair of the Northern Information Governance Forum. They obtained an MSc in Health Sciences from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and a BSc (Honours) in Psychology and Computer Studies from Liverpool Hope University.
