Megan Johnston, LMFT, is an experienced mental health professional with a robust background in therapy and counseling. Since September 2014, Megan has held multiple roles at Evolve Adolescent Behavioral Health, including Director of Admissions, Admissions Clinician, Primary Therapist, and Residential Counselor and Academic Coordinator. Previous positions include serving as a Residential Counselor at Center for Discovery and as an MFT Trainee at Turning Point Center for Families and Harbour View Elementary School, where individual and group therapy was provided to students in grades K-5. Early career experiences include internships at Child Abuse Listening & Mediation (CALM) and the Santa Barbara County District Attorney's Office, alongside research assistance at UC Santa Barbara. Megan holds a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara.
