Jan Arne Jakobsen

Jan Arne Jakobsen has held a variety of roles in the healthcare industry since 1995. From 1995 to 2005, they held various positions at Eli Lilly and Company in Norway and Europe. In 2005, they became Business Unit Director at Abbott in Norway, where they doubled the productivity in the Sales Force and grew Humira to the fastest growing pharmaceutical product in Norway. From 2006 to 2009, they were Managing Director (Country Manager) of Stryker in Scandinavia and Norway. During this time, they developed a strong sales, marketing, and business support organisation, and achieved 100% sales growth. From 2009 to 2011, they were Managing Director (Country Manager) of Abbott and AbbVie in Sweden, where they positioned Humira as the leading Pharma product in Sweden with the highest Humira UC market share in the world. From 2015 to 2017, they were Chief Commercial Officer at ConceptoMed AS, where they developed and executed the global commercialization strategy, built a commercialization organisation and infrastructure, and initiated, developed, and signed distribution agreements to launch and sell key products to 20 countries. Finally, from 2018 to present, they have been Managing Director Norway at Evondos AS, the leading provider of automated medicine dispensing services in the Nordics.

Jan Arne Jakobsen obtained a Master of Business and Marketing from the Oslo School of Business Administration between 1984 and 1988.
