Markus Åfelt

Markus Åfelt has worked in various roles in the software engineering field since 2005. Markus began their career as a Summer & Thesis Worker at Nokia in 2005. In 2008, they worked as a Design Engineer, SW at Nokia. In 2009, they worked as a SW Engineer at SESCA Mobile Software Oy. In 2010, they worked as a Test Engineer, SW at both Nokia and Renesas Mobile Corporation. At Nokia, their role involved testing mobile wireless modem unit software in a hardware and emulation environment. At Renesas Mobile Corporation, their role was similar, focusing on GSM, WCDMA, and LTE calls. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Mentor Graphics as a QA Engineer, where they were responsible for GUI test automation with Microsoft Coded UI test framework, manual testing, and test automation development (plugins, etc.). From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Software Developer at Sitowise. Currently, they are a Test Automation Engineer at Evondos Group.

Markus Åfelt received their B.Sc. (Tech) in Embedded Systems from Turku University of Applied Science in 2008 and their M.Sc. (Tech) in Software Engineering from Turun yliopisto - University of Turku in 2011.
