Birte Winkel

Birte Winkel is an experienced manager with over a decade of expertise in business, procurement, and leadership. They have held various roles at Evonik, including Director of Global Procurement and Head of Global Market Segment Product Protection, and completed internships at E.ON and Siemens. Birte possesses a strong academic background with a Diplom-Ingenieur engineering degree from RWTH Aachen University and Tongji University, as well as an MBA from Collège des Ingénieurs. They are currently pursuing further education at IMD. Passionate about strategy and sustainability, Birte has a global mindset and a commitment to people development.
