Bodo Richter

Bodo Richter is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of polymerization catalysts. Currently serving as the Head of R&D of Olefin Polymerization Catalysts and Research Group Leader at Evonik since 2013, Bodo has a strong background from previous roles at LyondellBasell, where responsibilities included catalyst systems for polyethylene and metocene catalyst development from 2002 to December 2012. Early career experiences include contributions as a DPI fellow at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen focused on Boralumoxanes and non-MAO activators for polymerization catalysts (1999-2001), as well as work on Rh catalyst recycling at U-Cat B.V. at Universiteit Utrecht (1997-1999). Bodo holds a Diplom degree from TH Carl-Schorlemmer, Merseburg, a Ph.D. from The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at The University of Toledo.
