Diego Rota Martir

Diego Rota Martir has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Diego is currently working at Evonik as the Head of Quality Control Silanes since July 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of Laboratory Quality Control AEROSIL at Evonik from August 2022 to June 2023. Diego also worked at CYNORA where they held various positions including Group Leader Synthesis from January 2021 to July 2022, Laboratory Leader Synthesis from May 2020 to December 2021, and Scientist from August 2018 to May 2020. Diego was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of St Andrews from May 2018 to August 2018 and a PHD Graduate Student from September 2014 to May 2018. Additionally, Diego has worked as a Visiting Research Fellow at The University of Tokyo from September 2017 to December 2017, and as a Visiting PhD student at CSIR - National Chemical Laboratory Pune from May 2016 to August 2016. Diego also completed an Internship at IIT@NEST - Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia from March 2014 to September 2014. Diego started their career with internships at Sesia S.a.S. as an Operator from May 2008 to October 2012, and at Flamma S.p.A. in the RD and QC laboratories from April 2008 to May 2008.

Diego Rota Martir's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Sciences from the Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, which they obtained from 2008 to 2011. Diego then pursued a Master's degree in Chemical Sciences from the same university from 2011 to 2013. During this time, they also participated in a research project as a visiting student at Dublin City University from 2012 to 2013. Diego furthered their education by pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry at the University of St Andrews from 2014 to 2018.
