Dr. Thomas Schiffer

Dr. Thomas Schiffer has extensive experience in the chemical and polymers industry, currently serving as the Leiter Supply Chain Management for High Performance Polymers at Evonik since October 2006. Previous roles at Evonik include Leiter Controlling and Strategy Director for Performance Polymers, among others. Prior to Evonik, Dr. Schiffer worked at Degussa from August 2001 to September 2006, holding positions such as Senior Consultant in Project Management and Project Manager focusing on restructuring projects. Dr. Schiffer began a career at Creanova Spezialchemie GmbH as a Laboratory Leader in Research from June 1998 to July 2001. Dr. Schiffer earned a Doctorate in Organic Chemistry and a Diplom in Chemistry from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg.
