Joachim Venzmer's work experience includes starting in 1991 as a Research Manager at Th. Goldschmidt AG. Joachim then became an Interfacial Chemistry Manager at Goldschmidt - and then Degussa in 1999, until 2003. From 2003 onwards, Joachim served as the Head of Research Interfacial Technology at Evonik.

Joachim Venzmer received their Ph.D. in Polymer-Chemie from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in 1991. Joachim also spent time as a "Pre-Doc" at the Xerox Research Center of Canada (XRCC) with Francoise Winnik from 1989 to 1990. Additionally, they studied Polymer Science & Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1983 to 1984.
