Johannes Lehmann

Johannes Lehmann is an accomplished professional in the field of medicinal chemistry and bioorganic chemistry, currently serving as Lab Head of Process Research and Development at Evonik since January 2024. Previously, Johannes held the position of Team Coordinator at Miltenyi Biotec from October 2020 to December 2023, and worked as a Research Scientist at the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung from October 2019 to September 2020. Earlier experiences include serving as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Simon Fraser University from January 2017 to September 2019, focusing on human O-GlcNAcase inhibitors, and working as a Visiting Researcher at Harvard University, where the development of novel anti-tuberculosis agents was pursued in early 2016. Johannes earned a Ph.D. in Bioorganic Chemistry from the Technical University of Munich in January 2016, following a Master of Science in Biochemistry from the same institution in January 2012.
