Melissa Jones

Melissa Jones has over 25 years of work experience in various roles, primarily in talent acquisition and human resources. Melissa'smost recent position was as the Global Head of Onboarding at Evonik, where they were responsible for developing and implementing onboarding processes and content. Prior to that, they held the role of Global Senior Expert and Team Lead for Onboarding at the same company. Melissa also served as the Head of Americas at Evonik and as a Talent Acquisition Manager. Before joining Evonik, they worked at SunTrust as a First Vice President, HR Business Advisor and as a Talent Acquisition Manager. At SunTrust, Melissa developed stronger leaders and led a team that filled over 2300 requisitions. Melissa also worked as a Regional Recruitment Consultant at Asia Pulp & Paper, attracting executive talent for growth initiatives in North America. Earlier in their career, Melissa held positions at Mondelēz International, ALSTOM, Blue Heron Executive Search & Consulting, Durrill & Associates, SunTrust Bank, and Wells Fargo. Overall, Melissa's experience spans across industries and includes expertise in recruitment, onboarding, leadership development, and process improvement.

Melissa Jones earned a BBA degree in Marketing from William & Mary, where they attended from 1986 to 1990. In addition, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma -- Yellow Belt Certification in 2014.
