Rares Dobos

Rares Dobos has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. Rares began their career at The Louis Berger Group, where they worked as a Junior Engineer and Project Assistant, primarily focusing on the modernization and rehabilitation of the Lia Manoliu National Stadium. Rares also had a short-term mission in Sibot, Alba county, where they assisted with the supervision of works on the reconstruction of a railway bridge affected by flooding. At Gauff Consultants, Rares served as an Assistant Project Manager for the Philippines Secondary National Road Development Project and also worked as a Project Engineer on the Preparation of Detailed Engineering Designs and Tender Documents for Drainage Projects in Lusaka, Zambia. Currently, at Evonik, they hold the position of Director Global Product Management for Fumed Oxides and has previously held roles as a Project Manager for Product Costing, Global Coordinator for Infrastructure & Civil Engineering, and Lead Project Engineer. Overall, Rares Dobos has gained valuable experience in project management, engineering, and product management throughout their career.

Rares Dobos earned a BEng in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest between 2005 and 2009. More recently, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, with a specialization in Controlling, at the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen from 2018 to 2020.
