Ren Wu

Ren Wu is an accomplished professional with over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Head of Operations at Evonik since November 2008. Ren leads operations for three active pharmaceutical ingredient/excipient production plants, managing over 200 staff while ensuring adherence to stringent GMP standards. Previous roles at Evonik include Head of Production and Head of Maintenance and Engineering at Dossenheim, where Ren oversaw engineering, maintenance, and contractor management for a GMP-certified site. Ren has a proven track record in driving strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and employee satisfaction. Prior to Evonik, Ren held positions as Director Technology & Engineering, Project Manager, Process Engineer, and Research Associate, with educational credentials including an M.B.A. from Alliance Manchester Business School and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich.
