Richard Muisener is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and development within the optical and materials science sectors. Currently serving as Director of Research, Development & Innovation and Business Technology Scout at Evonik since April 2012, Richard previously dedicated over a decade to Essilor, where responsibilities included leading international program teams as a Program Manager and Principal Scientist for the development of advanced ophthalmic lenses. Additional roles at Essilor encompassed R&D Manager for Sunwear materials, where leadership involved the launch of innovative sunwear products, and R&D Engineer, focusing on pioneering coatings and treatments for lenses.
