Scott Freeland has extensive work experience in executive leadership roles in the technology field. Scott began their career as the CIO at Intercare Insurance Services in 2003 and later served as the CIO at Mainstay Business Solutions. In 2010, they became the CTO at Asurea Inc. & Insurance Wholesalers Inc., where they implemented cost-saving technologies and developed multi-year plans to drive revenue growth. From 2013 to 2020, Freeland worked as a Senior SharePoint Architect at AdaptivEdge, specializing in SharePoint migrations and custom solutions. In 2019, they joined TALENThire LLC. as the COO before moving on to become the Chief of Staff and CIO at Samuel Hale in 2019 and the Chief Operations Officer at Evoove in 2021. Currently, Freeland holds the role of Chief Technology Officer at Bluegate Technology, a custom CTO and CIO service focused on meeting the technology needs of businesses.
