Claudia Benati

Claudia Benati currently serves as VP, Head of Quality Unit and Qualified Person at Evotec, a position held since November 2023. Previously, Claudia was the Senior Scientific Director for Advanced Therapies and ATMP QP at Eurofins Biolab S.r.l. from May 2020 to October 2023. Claudia's expertise in the cell and gene therapy field is demonstrated through various roles at MolMed, including Project Manager and Qualified Person, where responsibilities included ensuring compliance with laws and Good Manufacturing Practices for batch release. Claudia's background at MolMed also includes positions as Head of Process Development, Senior Researcher/Project Manager, Development Researcher/Project Planner, and GMP Manufacturing Supervisor. Earlier career milestones include fellowships in AIDS research and the haematological field at the Istituto San Raffaele Telethon per la Terapia Genica. Claudia holds an MSc in Biology from Università degli Studi di Padova and a postgraduate degree in Medical Genetics from Università degli Studi di Verona.
