Elvira Sandin

Elvira Sandin is a Senior Research Assistant at Evotec since February 2022, with a strong background in neurobiology and behavior evidenced by a PhD from Universität zu Lübeck (2017-2020). Prior experience includes a PhD role at the Center of Brain Behaviour and Metabolism, a research internship at Karolinska Institutet focusing on 24-hydroxycholesterol and oestrogen in Alzheimer's disease, and serving as a University Research Manager at High Fliers Research Limited. Additional qualifications include a Master of Science in Fundamental Neuroscience from Maastricht University (2014-2016) and a BA Hons in Psychology from the University of Strathclyde (2010-2014). Educational foundation was established at Uddevalla gymnasieskola, where a focus on Social Sciences was developed.
