Hilary Brooks

Hilary BROOKS is an experienced professional in the field of oligonucleotide therapeutics, currently serving as VP and Therapeutic Area Lead at Evotec since July 2019, where responsibilities include facilitating collaborations focused on oligonucleotide development. Prior roles within Evotec included Senior Research Scientist and Team Leader, emphasizing innovative drug discovery and team management. With a background as Project Manager at SeleXel, Hilary contributed to the advancement of iRNA-based therapies for oncology. Earlier experience includes positions at Vectus Biosystems as Lab Manager, and roles at Children's Cancer Institute Australia and Garvan Institute of Medical Research as Senior Research Officer. Hilary holds a PhD in Medical Biology from the University of Basel and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Genetics from the University of Melbourne.
