Kamala K. is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Director of Business Development (Discovery) at Evotec since July 2023. Prior to this role, Kamala held positions including Director of Strategic Alliances and Partnerships at Champions Oncology, Inc., and worked as a consultant from 2015 to 2022, focusing on transitioning academic discoveries to drug development and evaluating peptide therapeutics. Additional consultancy experience was gained at Third Rock Ventures, contributing to drug discovery and clinical translation projects. Kamala's research background includes significant roles such as Senior Scientist at Aileron Therapeutics, where leadership in preclinical development resulted in successful program outcomes, and Research Scientist at TransMolecular, managing collaborations and contributing to scientific literature.
