Luca Galbusera

Luca Galbusera is a skilled software development leader with extensive experience in multi-omics data analysis. Currently serving as the Team Leader for Software Development at Evotec since January 2021, Luca oversees agile projects and leads a team focused on extending the proteomics capabilities of the PanHunter platform. Previous roles include Software Engineer at Evotec, Researcher at the University of Basel investigating gene regulatory networks, Statistical Analyst at Nestlé providing statistical insights for food safety studies, and a PhD student at SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics developing statistical models for gene regulation. Luca holds a PhD in Computational Biology from the University of Basel, a Master’s Degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, and a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field.
