Mark Slack

Mark Slack has extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Academic Partnerships at Evotec since November 2002, where responsibilities include developing spin-out opportunities from early-stage drug discovery programs at leading European universities. Prior roles at Evotec include Vice President of Academic Partnerships and Vice President of In Vitro Pharmacology, where management of in vitro pharmacology activities and preclinical compound development was key. Earlier in his career, Mark Slack held positions as Lab Leader at Bayer HealthCare and Post-doctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Neurological Research. Mark Slack holds a PhD in Virology from the University of Warwick and a Post Graduate Certificate in Pharmaceutical Business Development and Licensing from The University of Manchester.
