Matthew Griffiths

Matthew Griffiths currently serves as the VP of In Vitro Biology at Evotec since December 2022. Previously, Matthew held the position of Research Fellow at Vertex Pharmaceuticals from August 2004 to December 2022, where responsibilities included serving as Senior Departmental Safety Officer. Matthew's earlier experience includes serving as Team Leader at OSI Pharmaceuticals and Senior Scientist at Oxford GlycoSciences, focusing on the integration of proteomic and genomic databases for target identification. Matthew began a postdoctoral research role at the University of Nottingham related to cell signaling and earned a PhD in Cell Biology from the University of Bristol, having previously obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry with Pharmacology from the University of Oxford.
