Olivier Stepien

Olivier Stepien is a Principal Scientist at Evotec, serving in both the Molecular Architect and Research Informatics roles since April 2015. In the Molecular Architect position, Olivier leverages data and advanced tools to drive Hit to Lead projects and automate AI/ML processes. As a Research Informatics scientist, Olivier focuses on integrating ML/AI approaches for data-driven hit identification from high-throughput screening (HTS) data, utilizing analytics platforms such as Knime and programming languages including R and Python. Previously, Olivier worked at Sanofi as a Senior Informatics Scientist from September 2007 to March 2015, where contributions included the development of computational solutions for drug design and updates to the screening compound library. Earlier experience includes a role as a Computational Scientist at Silogic/Akka from December 2001 to September 2007, specializing in real-time applications for the A380 program. Olivier holds a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology from Paris-Sud University and a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from ENSEEIHT.
