Rahul V. Veettil

Rahul V. Veettil, Ph.D., is a Senior Data Scientist at Evotec, specializing in the integration of drug discovery and data science through the development of advanced computational models, including a graph neural network framework for biomedical applications. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Data Scientist at OROBIX Srl, where regression and classification models were developed for healthcare challenges, as well as contributions to COVID-19 mortality predictions. As a PhD student at Ben-Gurion University, Rahul focused on cancer resistance mechanisms, discovering prognostic biomarkers and creating drug recommendation systems. Rahul co-founded the Data Science Community at Ben-Gurion University and held various research positions at renowned institutions, including the Blue Brain Project. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Medical Sciences from Ben-Gurion University, a Master's in Bioinformatics from Amity University, and a Bachelor's in Bioinformatics from Kannur University.
