Rudolf Rigler

Rudolf Rigler is a prominent figure in the field of Biophysics and Medical Physics, with a distinguished career spanning several decades. As the founder of Biophos SA since 2006, Rudolf has made significant contributions to the industry. Alongside this role, Rudolf serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Gnothis Holding AG, which was co-founded in July 2001. In academia, Rudolf holds a professorship in Medical Physics at Karolinska Institutet since 1985 and has held various prestigious academic positions, including a visiting professorship at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne from 2001 to 2010, and a professorship in Molecular Biophysics at Lund University from 1983 to 1985. Rudolf also co-founded Evotec in 1993 and has a rich educational background with a PhD in Biophysics from Karolinska Institutet and postdoctoral work at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry, where work focused on fluorescence techniques.
