Tom Carter

Tom Carter is a Senior Scientist at Evotec since May 2020, with extensive experience in scientific research and consultancy. Prior roles include Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the University of Oxford from January 2017 to August 2019 under the supervision of Prof. Angela Russell, and Scientific Consultant at Unit DX and Ziylo, where Ziylo focused on innovative sugar monitoring technology utilizing synthetic sugar receptors. Tom Carter completed a PhD in Chemical Synthesis with a focus on Synthetic Lectins at the University of Bristol from 2011 to 2016, following a Master of Science in Chemistry. Additional experience includes serving as a Laboratory Demonstrator at the University of Bristol and participating in a Nuffield Foundation Summer Research project.
