Eleni Kyriakopoulou, BSc, MSc, PhD, is a Senior Research Scientist at Evox Therapeutics Ltd, where work specializes in AAV gene therapy, protein engineering, and in vitro assay development since November 2020. Previously, Eleni served as a Research Scientist at RENEURON GROUP PLC, focusing on the development of technologies for loading neural stem cell-derived exosomes with nucleic acids and proteins, and was involved in PhD research at the University of Leeds on the interaction between FGFR2 and TRPA1 in lung cancer. Eleni began their career with a summer internship at Democritus University of Thrace, where purification of C-Phycocyanin from Spirulina Platensis was performed. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Leeds, an MSc in Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine from Aston University, and a BSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Democritus University of Thrace.
