Defne Selin İldem

Defne Selin İldem has a diverse work experience spanning from 2004 to the present. Defne Selin began their career as an intern at the Turkish Consulate in 2004. In 2006, they interned at The Clingendael Institute, followed by an internship at the United Nations Office at Geneva in 2008. In 2009, they interned at the Turkish Foreign Policy Institute.

In 2011, Defne joined Isbir Optik San. A.S. as a Marketing Specialist, where they developed marketing strategies for ophthalmic lenses, optical instruments, and eyeglass frames. Defne Selin also handled tasks such as liaison with international and Turkish firms, product promotion, and organizing training programs. Defne Selin worked in this role until 2013.

Later, they pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in International and European Protection of Human Rights at Utrecht University from 2006 to 2007.
