Jagat Singh

Jagat Singh has a diverse professional background with extensive experience in community service and advocacy roles. From July 2012 to March 2014, Jagat worked at Aurora New Dawn Ltd as a Helpline Operator, Independent Domestic Violence Advocate, and Independent Stalking Advocacy Caseworker. A brief role as a Recruitment Consultant occurred at Stream Resourcing in early 2019, followed by employment at FCC Paragon as a New Business Executive until July 2020. Since November 2020, Jagat has served as Lead Service Coordinator and Project Manager for Community Spirit at Community First. Currently, Jagat is also employed as a Courier at Evri, starting in April 2024. Additional roles include a long-standing position as a Community Volunteer (Sewadar) at Portsmouth Sikh Gurdwara since April 2007 and prior experience as a Customer Service Assistant at Wilko from September 2007 to May 2014. In terms of education, Jagat obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology with Psychology (First Class Honours) from the University of Portsmouth and later earned a Master's degree in Criminology and Criminal Psychology with Distinction from the same institution.
