Srinivasan Narayanan

Srinivasan Narayanan has over 20 years of experience in the apparel industry. From 1999 to 2001, they worked as a Production Coordinator for Garments Product International in Manama, Bahrain. During this time, they were responsible for product and shipment planning and formulated and implemented procedures for garment assembly and finishing, improving quality by 3%. From 2001 to 2002, they held the role of Quality Assurance Manager at Yenkay Buying House, where they were responsible for sourcing/quality of apparel fabrics and African prints, production planning and efficiency follow-up. Srinivasan also structured the quality strategies, leading to manufacturing cost savings by 15% and devised systems in purchasing, improving relationships leading to product cost reduction and increase in profit margin by 5%. From 2005 to 2007, Srinivasan worked at Jones Apparel Group as a Product Integrity Manager, where they were responsible for product management from factory compliance to product inspection. Srinivasan was also instrumental in setting-up the product integrity department. From 2007 to 2014, they worked at Target as a Buyer and Sr. Engineer (Fabric, Trims & Garment Quality Standards) & Cost Viability. Finally, from 2019 to present, Srinivasan is currently working at Evrnu, SPC as Head of Sourcing, Quality & Raw-Materials and a Consultant.

Srinivasan Narayanan completed their MBA in Human Resource Management & Brand Management from the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business between 2008 and 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Fashion & Apparel from Philadelphia University in 2004. Srinivasan also holds a Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology from DKTE and a High School degree in Computer Science from Hindu Senior Secondary School.
