Chris Gay

Chris Gay began their career in 1998 as a Financial Analyst for Goldman Sachs (The Archon Group). In 2000, they moved to VSE Group as a Java Software Developer, where they developed a Java enterprise content management system for Belo Interactive. In 2002, they took a role as a Technology Consultant for AgileCast, which involved working on the Boeing Advanced Tactical Laser (C130-mounted), hybrid airship, and SRCAV UAV projects. In 2006, they became the CEO and Co-founder of MileMeter, where they led the formation of a full new insurance carrier, ecommerce platform, and the enterprise tech stack. In 2014, they moved to MDB Capital Group as a Managing Director. Finally, in 2017, they became the CEO and Co-founder of Evry Health, a health insurer with technology that lowers premiums 20%. Chris is backed by Y Combinator, Silicon Valley venture capital funds, and the largest life insurer in the nation.

Chris Gay began their educational journey at McCallie, where they completed their high school degree in 1994. Chris then attended The University of Texas at Austin, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Chris'story, both in 1997. In 2013 and 2014, Gay pursued a Corporate International Master at Georgetown University, FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, and Esade, respectively, in the field of Executive Master of International Business, Mestrado Executivo em Gestão Empresarial, and Corporate Master of Business Administration. In 2018, they attended Y Combinator.
