Dirk de Block

Dirk De Block is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the broadcast and media technology sectors. Currently serving as an Operational Trainer at EVS Broadcast Equipment since March 2023, Dirk has also held the position of Praktijk Lector Audio/Video at Karel de Grote Hogeschool since September 2007, where responsibilities include coordination in media technology. As the owner of Virtual bvba since October 1997, Dirk offers a wide range of services in the broadcast sector, complemented by over two decades of experience as a Freelance Production Engineer, involved in major productions such as Tour de France and Montreux Jazz Festival. Previously, Dirk worked as a Technisch manager for ELEVEN SPORTS NETWORK BELGIUM from April 2016 to October 2017. Dirk holds a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Technology from Technicum Londenstraat and a high school diploma from Atheneum Deurne.
