Serge Dorkel

Serge Dorkel has extensive experience in information technology management, having worked in various roles for multiple companies. Serge started their career in 1992 as an IT-Leitung EUROPROP at MTU Aero Engines before transitioning to IT management at BayernLB in 2005. In 2014, they joined Faurecia as an IT-Manager, where they were responsible for leading IT strategies related to production, research and development, and testing. Serge then joined Wanzl Group in 2019 as Group CIO, where they were responsible for leading IT globally. Recently, they worked as a Leiter der Informationstechnologie (CIO) at EVUM Motors GmbH, where they designed and implemented technology strategies that supported EVUM's environmental and economic goals.

Serge Dorkel obtained a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Communications Technology/Technician from ICPI Lyon, France from 1985 to 1990. From 1990 to 1992, they pursued "Linienerkennung mit einer modifizierten Hough-Transformation" from CPE Lyon while working during their military service. Additionally, they obtained several certifications related to digital transformation, leadership, sales, and project management from LinkedIn in November and December 2022 and February and March 2023.
