Swen Wenig has a extensive work experience, starting in 1995 as an Account Manager at ABB Lackieranlagen GmbH. Swen then served as a Key Account Manager at ABB México from 1997 to 1999. After that, they worked as a Business Development Manager for Latin America at ABB from 2000 to 2002. From 2002 to 2007, they were a Sales Manager for Germany at SKF Linearsysteme GmbH. In 2008, they joined SKF GmbH, where they held various managerial positions including Manager Mechatronik Platform Central Europe, Manager Sales Germany & Switzerland Precision Business Unit, and Manager Sales Central Europe Linear & Actuation Technology. In 2017, they became the CEO/Manager Sales Unit Central Europe Linear & Actuation Technology at SKF Linearsysteme GmbH. Finally, in 2019, they became the CEO of Ewellix GmbH & Sales Director Central Europe.

Swen Wenig completed their undergraduate degree in Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering) from the University of Kassel in 1994, earning the title of Diplom-Ingenieur (Dipl.Ing.). In 2002, they pursued further studies at Freie Universität Berlin, where they obtained a Master of Business Marketing degree.
