Vanessa Schröder

Vanessa Schröder is a specialist for ancillary services and project manager at ewz since July 2021, focusing on conceptual projects related to the flexibility of Distributed Energy Resources (DER). Previously, Vanessa held the position of project manager for substation automation systems at ABB from October 2017 to June 2021, managing global projects across multiple continents and overseeing various phases including engineering and on-site commissioning. Early career experiences include roles as a graduate engineering trainee at ABB and research assistant at ETH Zürich's Aerothermochemistry and Combustion Systems Laboratory, as well as an R&D intern at Siemens Building Technologies. Vanessa holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in the same field, along with a Matura from Kantonsschule am Burggraben St. Gallen.
