Linh Nguyen

Linh Nguyen is an experienced data professional currently serving as a Data Engineer at Exa since July 2025. Previously, Linh worked as a Lead Data Scientist at Best Egg from August 2022 to May 2025, focusing on machine learning and explainable AI for personal loan underwriting. Prior to that role, Linh was a Statistician/Research Engineer at Chevron Oronite from August 2018 to June 2022, where responsibilities included the design of experiments, explanatory regression modeling, and the development of machine learning and predictive analytics tools. Linh began a career in research as an Undergraduate Researcher with the MIT Energy Initiative from February 2015 to April 2018. Linh holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
