Matthew M. DeLoera

Matthew M. DeLoera has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Matthew M. is currently employed as a Principal Software Engineer at Johnson Controls since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at exacq Technologies, a division of Tyco Security Products, where they served as a Manager of Server Software Engineering. In this role, they designed and implemented a highly-responsive cross-platform service architecture for both Windows and Linux. Matthew M. also developed software that handles searching, recording, and live streaming of digital video and audio, as well as interfacing with analog capture hardware devices, IP camera devices, and digital I/O. Before joining exacq Technologies, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at System Design Group, leading the development of manufacturing software for Roche Diagnostics. Matthew M. also worked at NetOctave as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed driver architecture for encryption co-processors, and at International Business Machines (IBM) as a Staff Engineer, where they developed drivers for system management hardware.

Matthew M. DeLoera holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, which they obtained from Valparaiso University in the period between 1991 and 1995. Later on, they pursued further education at North Carolina State University, where they studied Computer Engineering and obtained a Master's Degree in the same field from 1998 to 2001.
