Stefano Cozzini

Stefano Cozzini is an accomplished professional in the field of High Performance Computing (HPC) with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Director of the Institute for Research and Technologies at AREA Science Park since February 2020, Stefano also co-founded eXact lab in March 2012, where solutions and training for the HPC market are offered. Prior roles include Development Scientist at CNR/IOM Democritos, where duties involved coordinating HPC/GRID activities, and Program Coordinator for the Master in High Performance Computing at SISSA-ICTP. Early career highlights include consultancy at CINECA and post-doctoral work in numerical simulation of liquid crystals at the University of Sevilla. Stefano holds a PhD in Physics from Università degli Studi di Padova and a Laurea in Physics from Università di Trento.
