Julia Zella

Julia Zella, PhD, is a seasoned professional in clinical development and research, currently serving as the Director of Clinical Development at Exact Sciences since October 2018. Previously, Julia held various positions at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, including Clinical Research Program Manager in the OB/Gyn department and Researcher in the Department of Biochemistry, where responsibilities included training staff and students, instructing graduate seminars, and preparing scholarly articles. At Deltanoid Pharmaceuticals, Julia's roles as Director of Clinical Operations and Project Leader involved directing Phase 2 clinical studies, authoring clinical protocols, and developing novel research methods. Julia earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Purdue University.
