Kay Schmidt

Kay Schmidt is an experienced operations and product development leader with a robust background in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Operations Transformation at Exact Sciences since April 2024, Kay previously held key positions at Catalent Pharma Solutions from 2009 to 2023, including Senior Vice President of Enterprise Functions, where significant achievements included managing over 200 new product introductions annually and leading product development for various dosage forms. Prior experience at GE Healthcare spanned from 1983 to 2009, with roles such as Director of Engineering and Operations for Bone Mineral Densitometry and Center of Excellence Manager for X-ray Detectors. Kay Schmidt holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Carroll University and a Master of Science in Industrial Safety from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
